She founded Astanga Yoga Kaua'i in 1995, Yoga Hanalei in 1999, and began training Yoga teachers in 2003. A yoga tradition in which a given series of poses are practiced in a set sequence. The asanas are linked together with sun salutations, resulting in a vigorous practice.
See schedule for class times.

The key to freeing up the body is opening up the breath — and the easiest way to open the breath is by singing together!
The class follows the bhakti tradition — combining communal music (kirtan), meditation and sometimes even a little dance — with a flowing Level I/II vinyasa practice.
Yoga + Music is accessible to most yoga practitioners, and no musical experience or singing ability is required...because humming or just rocking along on your mat works too!

This is a perfect class for anyone new to yoga or looking to refine their regular yoga practice. Poses are practiced at a slower pace with attention to alignment and detail.  Recommended for all levels looking to deepen their understanding and experience of a yoga practice and all that it has to offer.

Body and Soul Yoga is an all levels hatha practice that is woven with seasonal elements and targeted components designed to provide each student with an opportunity to grow, heal and develop holistically by turning their attention toward themselves and seeing what needs tending. With an emphasis on self-care, a good measure of challenge for the body and mind, and plenty of room for modifications as needed, students are guided through a complete practice that will lead them toward a state of embodied presence, ease and deep contentment.

This class utilizes props (blankets, bolsters, straps, blocks) to fully support the body in restful poses, allowing students to stay in postures longer. Practicing primarily seated and reclined asanas, this is a deeply relaxing class, appropriate for all levels, including those recovering from injuries or with limited range of movement.

Monday | 9-10am | Community Class | Courtney

Wednesday | 9-10:30am | Gentle Stretch with Yoga Nidra | Anna Marie

Mostly seated and reclined poses are combined with stretching, breathwork and relaxation. This is a calming and nurturing class that is appropriate for all levels of ability.

A dynamic style of yoga in which poses are linked together in a flowing sequence, building strength and stamina in the student. This practice will include seated, standing, reclined, and sometimes inverted postures.
See schedule for class times.

A meditative floor practice where poses are held longer and deeper to strengthen connective tissues (tendons, fascia, and ligaments) with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.  Much of the focus is between the belly button and the knees - particularly the hips, pelvis and lower spine.
