Robert Howard
Light of Day
May 2-June 6, 2026
Opening reception:
Saturday May 2, 2026 4-7pm
Robert Howard's work spans multiple mediums from ceramic sculpture and pottery, to masonry sculpture, and painting. The works at Enso are selected from two series painted around ten years ago that have rarely or never been seen outside of his studio, hence the title of the show. These paintings arise from Robert’s life long interest in physics and an attempt to come to terms with the fact that physical reality is an illusion.
Robert is a husband, father, artist, retired builder and former teacher who was born in Philadelphia and has lived in San Francisco since 1984.
